Lecturer

Bastien Rucinski is a Lecturer at the Department of French. He holds 2 Master’s degrees from Sorbonne University (Paris 1), one in Philosophy and one in Public Law. He is a student in the Philosophy Department at the École Normale Supérieure and is specialized in contemporary philosophy. He holds a higher-level teaching qualification for Philosophy (the French agrégation). Training towards a PhD, his research centers on philosophy of war and nuclear weapons. His current research focuses on the writings of Raymond Aron and Günther Anders. He is also interested in modern and contemporary German philosophy.
